       Does a homeowner need to pick up a new pool access card each year?
·       NO, when you pay your annual dues each year and when the pool is open your pool access card is activated.
·       May I do a head first cannon ball (suicide cannonball)?
·       NO, the signs and rules state: “NO DIVING”. This means no entry into pool head/shoulder first.  This is for your own safety. The pool is not deep enough for this activity.
·       Are there any rules regarding throwing or tossing balls at the pool?
·       YES.  Only designated “water” or “pool” balls may be used for throwing or tossing at the pool (i.e., soft balls that absorb water).  These balls may only be thrown in relatively close proximity with someone.  Balls may not be thrown from the deck of the pool on one side to the deck of the pool on the other side.  Additionally, any hard ball may not be used for throwing (e.g., hard footballs, baseballs, softballs, basketballs, etc.).
·       May I run on pool deck area?
·       NO, there is NO running inside fenced area.
·       May I use a float in the kiddy pool?
·       NO, no floats, noodles or any kind of floatation devices are allowed in kiddy pool.
·       Why do the lifeguards have an adult swim?
·       Several reasons: it gives them a break, to keep them alert; allows children to take a potty break without missing swimming; allows adults time to enjoy the pool; etc.
·       When the lifeguards have an adult swim, may my child swim with me?
·       NO, during adult swim anyone under the age of 18 must be out of the pool.
·       May I swim when there is no lifeguard’s on-duty?
·       YES, but at your own risk.
·       May I use the small square end tables as a chair?
·       NO, they are not rated high enough to support the weight of a person/child.
·       May I stand on the chairs or lounge chairs?
·       NO, the individual straps will not support the weight of a person. They are designed to support as a group of straps.
·       May I reserve the pool for a party?
·       NO, only the pavilion area may be reserved.
·       May I sit, stand or pull on the water supply inlet pipe?
·       NO, it will not support a person’s weight. It’s the only true fill supply for the pool.
·       May I smoke at the pool?
·       NO, there is “NO SMOKING” inside the fenced areas.
·       The following items are not permitted:
·       NO glass in pool or on pool deck area.
·       NO animals or pets inside fenced area.
·       NO skate boards, bikes, or roller blades inside fenced area.
·       NO propping the gate open.
·       Lifeguards stands are OFF LIMITS.
·       They are for lifeguards ONLY.
·       May I go into the pool room and/or chemical room?
·       NO, Lifeguards, Pool Company Personal and Board members ONLY allowed in these areas. Maintenance personal may enter to perform their work only.
·       May I bring friends to the pool with me?
·       Number of guests for an adult is limited to five (5) – Guests must be accompanied by an adult card holding homeowner.
·       Number of guest for teenagers (over 13) is limited to three (3) – NO EXCEPTIONS.
·       May I use bad or offensive language in pool fence area?
·       NO, you will get one (1) warning. The second time you will be asked to leave the pool area. [Your name and address will be obtained and given to the Board].
·       Do we offer swimming lessons?
·  YES, but it must be through the pool management company. They are responsible for placing an information sign in the pool area.
·       Who must clean the restrooms and pool area?
·       The pool management company is responsible.
·       When is it required to exit pool for lighting and thunder?
·       At the first sighting of lighting, you must exit pool for 30 mins.
·       At the first sound of thunder, you must exit pool for 20 mins.
·       Both times restart after each sight of lighting and sound of thunder.





All persons using the pool facilities do so at their own risk and in compliance with all pertinent rules and regulations.  The Northcliff HOA is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property of any kind or for any bodily injury resulting from the use of these facilities.  Northcliff HOA reserves the right to revoke any homeowner’s/household’s access to the pool for misuse or non-compliance with community pool rules, covenant violations, or non-payment of dues.
